Read the Cookie policy

On this website ([www.plugz.dev](http://www.plugz.dev/)) (hereinafter: the “Website”) and when using the Plugz software (hereinafter: the “Software”), we, Plugz B.V. (hereinafter: “Plugz”), use cookies.

A cookie is a simple small file that is sent along with the pages of this Website and the Software and is stored by your browser on the hard drive of your computer. The information stored in it can be sent back to Plugz’s servers on a subsequent visit.

Different types of cookies

Plugz places different types of cookies on its Website and in the Software. In this Cookie Statement we explain which cookies Plugz uses within its services and what information these cookies collect about you. For placing certain cookies, your explicit consent is required. Where this is the case, we explain this below.

1. Functional cookies

Plugz uses functional cookies to store your preferences. This means you do not have to set them again each time and your user experience of the Website and the Software is improved. In addition, functional cookies ensure that logged-in visitors are recognised so you do not have to log in repeatedly. Plugz also uses load balancing cookies to distribute traffic across different servers and thereby optimise the performance of the Website.

2. Analytical cookies

Via the Website, Plugz places analytical cookies from Google as part of the “Google Analytics” service. These cookies measure how many visitors use the Website and collect statistical data about visitor behaviour. The data cannot be directly traced back to you as an individual and is used solely for visitor statistics. Plugz has entered into a data processing agreement with Google. Google may not use the data for other Google services. In addition, Plugz has disabled the function for sharing IP addresses, providing additional protection for your privacy.

3. Tracking cookies

Plugz uses tracking cookies to build a profile about you. This profile is used to tailor advertisements to your interests. Through these cookies, Plugz also gains insight into your use of other websites within its network. Your explicit consent is required for placing tracking cookies. On your first visit to the Website, we request this consent via a cookie banner. If you no longer see this banner, you can always adjust your cookie preferences via your browser settings.

Plugz uses the following tracking cookies:

1. Hotjar cookies: these identify each unique visitor so that you are shown the correct content. The purpose of these cookies is to improve your user experience and optimise the Website. The cookies expire automatically after 365 days. Hotjar does not display IP addresses, only a unique ID.

2. Google AdSense retargeting cookies: these enable Plugz to display advertisements on third-party websites tailored to your earlier visits to the Website or your use of the Software.

3. Social media buttons and pixels: the Website contains buttons and pixels from, among others, Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and LinkedIn. These allow you to share web pages via social networks. Cookies are placed via these buttons that give Plugz insight into your interests, enabling advertisements to be tailored to your behaviour. These cookies are placed through the code of the relevant social networks.

4. Right of access, correction and deletion

You have the right to access, correct or have your personal data deleted. For this you can contact us via hello@plugz.dev. To prevent misuse, Plugz may ask for proof of your identity.

In addition, you can delete cookies at any time via your browser settings. Information on enabling, disabling and deleting cookies can be found in the manual or help function of your browser.
